Microsoft has discovered security vulnerabilities in the Windows 2016 and 2019 operating systems. As a result, Microsoft has released a series of patches, KB5005573 and KB5005568. A third is expected to be released, to repair these vulnerabilities. Microsoft deems these patches critical. As a result, the company is pushing patches into all AWS EC2 instances running the vulnerable operating systems. Cloud Inventory® schedules operating system maintenance once a month and deploys operating system patches to all global installations. We do this using a rolling deployment method during non-peak hours within a regional installation. This eliminates the impact on ...

So, I thought I would spend a little time helping our members understand what spaces are available and how best to use them by post this blog in the ...

However, Microsoft has phased out the Windows Mobile operating system , which means Microsoft will stop issuing software updates and security patches. The transition will impact all customers running Windows Mobile on their mobile devices. It will also introduce the following concerns: Once support for Windows Mobile ends, users won’t have assistance fighting viruses or adding applications. This means there is potential for your data to be compromised. Relying on an unsupported product is challenging when the device is central to your organization’s operational ...
